DR. SIMEONS HCG DIET PROTOCOL
Dr. Simeons studies found that weight gain is not necessarily affected by quantities of food that one eats. There are many factors that affect weight gain, most of all is how well ones hypothalamus gland and diencephalon work. His lifelong studies came to show, not only can you lose fat in those hard to burn areas like your bellies, chins, love handles, thighs and arms but you can also change how your metabolism functions over time.
To change how your metabolism functions and to lose your stubborn abnormal fat, you need to follow a low calorie diet and use Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG). HCG is a hormone that is commonly found in your body. In fact, when you are young, it is present in every cell of your body. It also shows up in very large amounts in women when they become preganant. Doctors have used HCG for years in treatments including fertility and pregnancy test. It also has been clinically proven to work in weight loss when coupled with a low calorie diet.
When HCG is absorbed into your body, it causes your body to attack your stored fat. HCG triggers the body to break down fat cells and put it into your blood stream to be burned off as energy. This process puts anywhere from 1500 to 4000 calories in your system per day. This allows us to utilize a low calorie diet while still maintaining our strength and energy levels. If you use HCG with a normal diet, you will gain weight.
When a person that is overweight tries to lose by implementing a very low calorie diet without HCG, the dieter will first lose normal fat reserves followed by the burning of structural fat. Both of these two tyupes of fat are essential in our bodies. Lastly, the body finally starts to burn abnormal fat (bad fat). Once this happens, the dieter will begin to feel weak and hungry until the dieter gives up. If there are signs of weight loss, it is usually not in the desired areas. (Hips, bellies, chin, arms, thighs). The good fat is diminished and the bad fat stays. Frustrating!
With the use of HCG and following the specific diet protocol, dieters can start burning abnormal fat immediately while leaving the structural fat and fat reserves in place to keep the body healthy. Reports show an average loss of .5 to 2 pounds per day. Along with the decrease in pounds, you will see inches melt away and those abnormal fat deposits will begin to disappear. Clients have had an improvement in complexion, a drop in high blood pressure and a reduction in wrinkles. HCG can be used by men and women with no reported unsafe side effects.
This protocol has been studied in depth since the 1950's and has cured thousands. This is the most effective way to lose weight and keep it off. Three weeks after completing the protocol your metabolism is reset and the body can function properly. This has been so successful that few changes have been made to the original protocol over the last 50 years.

MELBA TOAST OR GRISSINI BREADSTICKS
Both can be found at your local grocery store.
WATER
-Drink plenty of water. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day. We like to drink 1/2 our body weight in ounces of water per day. We recommend Distilled water because tap water contains Chlorine and other additives.
TEA/COFFEE
You can drink as much coffee and herbal tea a day as desired. No artificial sweeteners or sugar is allowed. We recommend 100% all natural Stevia with no additives (it comes in many flavors).
SPICES AND SEASONINGS
-You can put spices on your protein and vegetables as loong as there is no MSG or sugar in the ingredients. Look for spices with 0 calories.
-Lemons and/or limes. 1 allowed per day.
DRESSINGS AND SAUCES
-No sugar or MSG allowed (make sure to read all ingredients labels). Which includes Mustard, Soy Sauce, Braggs Liquid Aminos and Steak Sauce with no sugar. Balsamic Vinegar, White Vinegar, Apple Cider Vinegar. Look for sauces with 0 calories. Hot sauce - Tabasco (a favorite is Green Pepper Sauce by Tabasco). It can be used on everything such as steak, chicken, vegetables and in any dish for added flavor.
SUPPLEMENTS
-Potassium, Magnesium and B-12 (in liquid drop or sublingual capsule form)
SAMPLE DAILY EATING PLAN
You must weigh all servings to 3.5 oz size
1 Serving of Protein = 3.5 ounces of Chicken, Steak, Lean Ground Beef or White Fish.
1 Serving of Vegetables = 3.5 ounces of Lettuce, Spinach, Tomatoes, Celery, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cucumber, Asparagus, Cabbage, Zucchini, Peppers (red and green), Chard, Onions, Mushrooms and Radishes.
1 Piece of Fruit = Grapefruit, Apple, Orange or 6 Strawberries
BREAKFAST:
-Any fluids with no calories.
Coffee and Tea sweetened with Stevia only. (Stevia can be found in liquid drops and powder forms and comes in various flavors).
MID-MORNING SNACK:
-1 serving of fruit
LUNCH:
-1 Serving of Protein, 1 serving of vegetable and 1 Melba toast.
AFTERNOON SNACK:
-1 serving of fruit.
DINNER:
-1 serving of Protein, 1 serving of vegetable and 1 Melba toast.
SUBSITUTIONS:
-You can substitute 3 eggs for 1 protein once a week (1 whole egg with yolk and 2 egg whites) . You can occasionally subtitute 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese for 1 protein. No more then 2 times during 21 days of 500 calories.
SEASONINGS:
-You can season as desired using NO MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) or Sugar included in them. No oil, butter or dressings can be used.
Examples that are allowed:
-Vinegar (Balsamic, White Wine, etc.), Mustard (NO SUGAR), Salt, Pepper and most Herbs. Can also use MSG and Sugar Free Soy or Braggs Liquid Aminos.
Make sure that you get to your 500 calories each day and if you come up short, vegetables work as great fillers. They also keep your stomach feeling fuller. Don't add other foods for calories, only vegetables.
DO'S AND DO NOTS
DO
-Take your Magnesium and Posassium Vitamins every night before bed.
-Take B-12. Either in liquid drops or pill form. (for energy)
-Drink minimum of 2 liters of water. We recommend for clients to drink 1/2 their body weight in ounces per day. The more, the better.
-Weigh yourself daily! Pick a time to weigh and track your results
-Write down the food that you eat daily. This is important so you can see trends in your gains and loss to help you in the future.
-Take a before and after picture. This helps track visual progress and helps keep you motivated.
-Take your measurements and record them. Clients have reported that great days to measure during the diet are the days where there is minimal weight loss or when you have a plateau. This helps keep your spirits up to see progress in another form other than pound loss.
DON'T
-Don't use any artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame, Acesulfame, Spelenda or NutraSweet. Only use Stevia as a sweetener. It is completely natural.
-No oil is allowed including Olive oil, Butter, Fish oils, Coconut oil, etc. NO OILS! This includes being applied to the outside of your body as well. No lotions, oil based sunscreens and oil based makeup.
-No alcohol is allowed while on the diet and taking the drops.
-Don't get a massage while taking HCG.
-Do not take fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D and E until you are in the maintenance plan.
-Do not chew gum or eat mints. They contain ingredients that are not permitted.
DIET INFO
-Avoid cosmetics that are high in fats and oils. Most lipstick, eyebrow pencils and powder are ok. Mineral makeup is also approved for use.
-Use Carmex balm to moisten lips rather than other brands.
-Instead of lotion or body creams which are not allowed. Use Aloe Vera Gel or Mineral Oil. Organic Aloe Vera is highly recommended.
-Non-dairy creamer or other forms are not allowed.
-The spicier the foods the easier it is to drink your water. Just make sure that your hot sauce does not have any sugar included. Spicy foods can also decrease cravings.
-No fat at all is allowed on the diet. Trim off excess fats from meat. Stay away from marbelized cuts of meat.
-Nothing else may be added into the diet without increasing your appetite.
PLATEAU BREAKERS
-
Take a day off the drops while you continue the 500 calorie diet. Some people can build immunity to the HCG. Make sure that you have at least 7 days of taking the drops before you take one off. Some clients take the drops for 7 days then take a day off no matter where their weight gain is.

Increase water intake from 2-3 liters per day. Drink 1/2 your body weight in oz per day.

Increase protein by .5 ounces

Cut red meat down or completely out of your diet.
-
Double check sauces, mustard, seasonings or any form of sugar. Check ingredient labels carefully. Sugar may be found with many different names.
-
Don not mix vegetables at a meal.
-
Take out one or both of your starches (melba toast)
-
Double check your sources of protein and other foods to make sure they are not injected with sugar or other sweeteners.

Drop one or both of your fruits
-
Have an APPLE DAY. The manuscript describes this as having 6 apples throughout your day and as much non-caloric fluid as possible. (water, tea, etc.). Most clients report a 2 pound drop the next day.

Try a mini steak day (refer to maintenance plan)

Try adding a little physical activity like a walk, yoga or any type of 20 minute physical activity that you would enjoy. Try doing this 3-4 times per week if you plateau longer than a few days.

Get more sleep. Make sure you are getting your 8 hours of sleep.

Eat dinner earlier. Some clients have reported that if they have dinner early in the evening on a consistent basis, their weight loss is more constant and greater.

Try adding 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar to your diet. We recommend that you dilute with water but drink in one sitting. Do no spread it throughout the day.

Some people plateau because they have reached their final, ideal weight. The manuscript states to increase food intake to lefel off losing until minimum number of protocol days is completed. Once completed, you can finish with the maintenance phase to maintain your body's ideal weight.

Have you added medications during the diet? Sometimes changes cause delays for a few days while your body adjusts. If the plateau lasts longer than a couple of days and all other plateau breakers fail, consult your physician to see if you can possibly go back to your old medication or try something new.
DIET PLAN DETAILS
Take 10 drops (1/8 Teaspoon) 3 times per day for 20 days. The first two days are "load" days where you need to eat to capacity. This is important to sustain energy to your body. Days 3-20 continue to take the drops while you maintain your 500 calories per day. Days 21-23 maintain your 500 calorie diet with no TrimHCG. It is important to take the drops 30 minutes before or after you consume any food or beverage. (This includes brushing your teeth). Hold drops under your tongue for 2 minutes.
Days 1 & 2
-Take drops and eat to capacity. Include foods high in fats such as avocado, tuna and salmon. This is important to load up on energy stores to give your body enough energy until the TrimHCG can absorb and start burning fat storage. Drink plenty of water!! At least 2 liters per day!
Days 3 - 20
-Continue taking 10 HCG drops 3 times per day while you consume your alloted 500 calories. You can make 500 calories go a long way. Make sure to limit your protein to 3.5 oz or 100 grams and fill the rest of the calories with vegetables. Drink plenty of water. Drink minimum of 1/2 your body weight in oz per day.
Days 21 - 23
-Discontinue use of the drops while maintaining the 500 calorie diet. This is very important to get the HCG out of your body before you increase your caloric consumption.
21 - Day Maintenance Fallowing the Diet Plan
-Slowly bring back foods into your daily diet but still completely refrain from any Starches or Sugars. During this phase you can eat until full as long as you make sure that you stay within 2 pounds of your bottom weight. If you go above 2 pounds by just one ounce, then you need to have a steak day or mini steak day.
Steak Day - Drink as much fluid as possible throughout the day including water, coffee an tea while eating no food until dinner. At dinnertime have a big juicy Steak (season as you like with approved seasonings) and follow it with an apple or raw tomato.
Mini Steak Day - Drink as many fluids as possible and for lunch have 2 hard-boiled eggs with an apple. For dinner you may have a large steak 9season as you like) followed by an apple or raw tomato.
